Dr. Florence Little CPsychol
Counselling Psychologist (DPsych)
Counsellor (FdSc)
After completing a degree in counselling from the University of Greenwich, I furthered my training by pursuing a doctorate in counselling psychology at Regent’s University (London).
In addition to my title as a counsellor, I have also been awarded the title of ‘chartered psychologist’, which is granted to practitioners who have completed a doctoral program in the United Kingdom.
I have since obtained approval from the French University, which recognizes the equivalency of my training and authorizes me to use the title of psychologist in France.
The modalities of these trainings and my professional practice includes person-centered therapies, Gestalt therapy, existential-phenomenological and psychodynamic approaches, as well as second- and third-wave cognitive and behavioral therapies (for more information, please refer to the ‘What is Therapy’ tab).
I have requested and received my registration with the Adeli directory from the Regional Health Authority (ARS) of Loire Atlantique, under number 449330489. My number in the shared directory of healthcare professionals (RPPS) is 10009500215. Created by the state in collaboration with Health Insurance, it is the reference file for healthcare professionals and is shared among organizations in the French health and social sectors.
I have several years of experience and have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, individually or in groups, across various settings in the public hospital sector (the NHS), as well as in charitable, associative, and private sectors.
Below, you will see a list of issues I have worked with. However, I acknowledge that many of these may overlap.
